I have not attended a craft beer festival since before the pandemic. The Brewsology Beer Fest is the boozy hybrid of your middle school museum field trip. They take over museums around the country after hours. The Phoenix version was held in the Arizona Science Museum. I have not been in the AZSM in several years. It is a very nice facility with fantastic interactive displays. I took Valley Metro Light Rail into Downtown Phoenix and walked a few blocks to AZSM. I got VIP tickets which provides early admission. I knew most of breweries and two wait staff members recognized me. It was fun talking with some of the unfamiliar brewers and hearing their stories. I saw an online friend that I met for the first time in person. Afterwards I went to Blanco Cocina + Cantina for National Chimichanga Day dinner. Light Rail back to The E and a safe drive home. Overall, a great day.
