Tang Soo Do Training

I accompanied two Master Instructors to visit 1st Central Coast Tang Soo Do in Lompoc, California. 517 miles from my house. We left on Friday and returned on Sunday. One of the Instructors drove his Tesla and we stopped to charge. During charging sessions we would eat lunch or get light snacks. We stayed at ÒCairns Inn & Suites. It is a good hotel and I slept well. This was my first time in Lompoc. We stopped by the school Friday night as they were finishing belt testing. Saturday was class. We watched 3 adults complete their belt testing. Afterwards we spent several hours going over our curriculum, concentrating on hyungs or forms or katas. We were able to achieve alignment as our Grandmaster Darryl Khalid Sr. wanted us to do. Saturday night there was a group dinner at Savory and Sweet Eats. Very good. We were able to relax and discuss anything. We drove back Sunday morning. Overall, a great weekend.
